Advocate Marketing Academy

AMAx RALEIGH '24

North Carolina community catchup

AMAx events

What’s fun, super informative, tastes delicious, and can pop up absolutely ANYWHERE?

It’s our mini Advocate Marketing Academy dinners.

When we chat, we learn. Community is everything, so inEvidence also hosts occasional AMAx events around the globe. We recently held our second in Raleigh.

See what went down.

A fine time

Raleigh is fast becoming a hub for customer advocacy excellence, so it made sense to invite customer advocacy professionals from tech companies from and around The Triangle to join us for dinner, to chat all things customer advocacy, and share best practice (or customer advocacy woes… sometimes, just hearing about others’ successes and problems is a form of therapy – a problem shared, and all that!).

In June, we held one of our mini AMAs at a cool spot in downtown – Vidrio – and whiled away a few hours nibbling, chatting, snacking, chatting, eating, chatting, and generally downloading all the valuable insights, tips, and tricks that can only come from being in a room together. With the best in the biz. All like minds.

This year, Michael Johnson, Senior Customer Reference Manager – Global Content Strategy and Innovation Awards at Red Hat, took us through his recent AMA EMEA presentation about the art (and science) of modular customer storytelling, how it works at Red Hat, and how it can elevate your customer advocacy programs. Safe to say that EVERYONE in the room had a takeaway from Michael’s expertise and experience. The only downside: Michael didn’t get much food!

And, as we were in town for a few days, we were also able to do some one-to-one catchups with some clients over a quick coffee or lunch.

A group of people sits around a large wooden dining table in a stylish restaurant, AMAx Raleigh 2024, with a unique ceiling design featuring numerous hanging wooden rods. Plates of food, drinks, and menus are visible on the table. Shelves with decorative items line the back wall.
A cityscape view at sunset, featuring a mix of buildings and greenery in Raleigh '24. The sun is partially visible on the horizon, casting an orange hue across the sky. Several buildings, including a prominent tall building, and parked white vans are in the foreground.
A wooden table is covered with neatly arranged stacks of cards. Each card features colorful labels and logos, likely indicating different categories or types. The background shows a tiled floor and a window with reflections of a dimly lit interior space, reminiscent of the ambiance at AMAx Raleigh '24.
A dining room with a striking ceiling design featuring numerous bamboo poles hanging vertically. The room is dimly lit, with a large wooden dining table surrounded by chairs. Shelving with decor items lines the walls, creating a cozy and intimate atmosphere perfect for planning your AMAx Raleigh 2024 experience.
An art deco cinema facade with a vertical sign reading "CARY" and a marquee showcasing events like "Nowhere Special," "We Grown Now," "Back to Black Babes," the "Pride Film Fest," and an exciting AMAx Raleigh '24. Don't miss the Jazz Concert and Sample Sale Music on 6-15!
Three individuals stand smiling in front of a backdrop with vertical rope design. The two men, on either side, are wearing blazers and collared shirts. The woman in the middle wears a black top and brown shoes. They are on patterned tiles, next to a statue of a dog at AMAx Raleigh '24.

Thank you so much for including me in this wonderful evening. I enjoyed speaking and sharing with each of you, and the greater team you had present at the event.  I learned so much from Michael with some great takeaways.  Hope to work with you all again sometime – you are a first-class team.

Aaron Sultan, Vertex

Thank you for such a lovely event! It was so refreshing and fabulous to connect in person. I am happy for you to share my contact details with others. The more we can share ideas and lament with one another, the better!

Becca Ortiz, Cisco

Thanks again inEvidence for bringing us all together!

Rachel Cole, Red Hat

Thank you for a fantastic event! 😊

Shelly Ryder, Egnyte

Can’t make it in person to one of our amazing AMA happenings? No problem… we’ll bring the experience to you!

Keep an eye out for where we’ll be popping up next… dinner and customer advocacy expertise on us.

Our treat.
